Marcus Powell 22, grew up in a town called Hemel Hempstead in Hertfordshire. My aim in life is to get somewhere with my photography,
it is my greatest passion. I have been photographing various aspects of the world for a good few years now, but since getting my first DSLR camera
in May 2007 I have started to take things very seriously. Since then I have used my skills to capture as much of the world as possible, from travelling
to London, to going all the way to New York City. All my knowledge is self taught, which I think is the best way; I have never studied photography at college.
I love being a photographer, I find its the best way to express myself by doing something I love.
I use a Nikon D60 with a 18-105mm lens. My camera travels with me wherever I go and I try and cover as many aspects as possible (Live music,
band promo, scenery, animals, portaits etc..) I recently sold my 1st photograph to a greeting cards company called Woodmansterne’s for their
2010 Christmas Card Range and the photo is going to be on over 10,000 cards world wide, In stores such as Waitrose, John Lewis, WH Smiths, Paperchase and Waterstones.
